Samus Helmet - WIP

So. Second version of the helmet has been completed in Pepakura.
Originally the first build was in normal paper, and I have to say, the Cardstock paper is much much MUCH better to work with.
It is thicker and denser than normal paper and it holds its shape quite nicely, whereas the original paper helmet was sort of droopy.

The larger top image is of the helmet actually on my head. Just so that you see its sizing in comparision... I blanked out my face because well... we dont want your monitors to crack under my sheer awesomeness do we?

The two helmets on the bottom half is a comparision between the first helmet (Paper Original on the Right) and the newer cardstock one(LEFT)
I unfortunately lost my red pen, so I had to go over the lines on the new helmet in black pen.
which, looks different, but nice neverthe less.
Besides, Im going to have to paper mache over it with just a few layers so the ink colour actually serves no purpose except to look nice here...

Im sorry, I think the bottom edges of the Helmet comparision was cut off D:

I have the visor cut and ready to afix into place once the helmet has been layered with just a couple of layers of papermache.
As well, Im going to get erm... i forget the name of the piping for the detail on the helm.
I am also going to add other details to the helmet just for added effect later on ^^
